Scope of work for Team Rooter technician was to perform three a spot repairs and one liner. For the first repair the technician had to excavate approx 4-5ft deep to be able to get down to the pipe and make a repair in it. Once repair was made tech ran camera to inspect the rest of the sewer.  In addition technician inverted a liner up stream from second hole to seal all breaks and cracks in the clay piping. Stopped at the clean out located in the front of the house. Also needed to invert a liner up to the city lateral to seal all breaks and cracks in the damage clay pipe. All work came with parts and labor with  a 25 year warranty.

Spot Repair
in Altadena, CA

Team Rooter technician job was to perform a 3×3 spot repair hole in front steps of the house. Technician had to excavate a 3 foot hole to have access to main sewer blockage. He also had to excavate  a second hole 7 feet deep to access the main sewer line by the property line in front of home. Once having both holes exposed hel than cut mainline from both holes to have access to run new pipe with our trenchless system method. Once new line was ran,a new line was then inserted going towards the street with the Liner method. Once both methods were complete technician then reconnected both connects back with rubber couplings and ABS plastic. In addition technician installed a 4 inch clean out by the property line for future maintenance towards the street. We will also be replacing all old cast iron pipe underneath the house and replacing it with ABS plastic. This included replacing two full bathrooms, kitchen and laundry line. Technician also installed a second 3 inch clean out in the back of home coming out of cross space. Once both were backed filled we then did a concrete patch in front of steps where first hole was excavated. All parts and labor were included with 25 year warranty.

Sewer Replacement

Team Rooter technician first went out to snaked our mainline through 4 inch clay clean out. Technician could not clear line, pulled back mud and roots. Best recommendation was to run camera to inspect sewer line and detect problem. Once problem was detected technicians work was to excavate about 3.5 ft trench to perform a repair on a broken section of clay due to roots. Once pipe was replaced tech then ran camera to inspect rest of sewer.

In addition technician performed a second  spot repair by the city sidewalk. Tech had to excavated 4X4 hole and dug down about 7 feet, in order to cut out old clay pipe and insert a liner going upstream that stopped right before the cast iron start (4 inch). Tech also inverted a liner going downstream for the 6 inch pipe that would stop right before the city lateral (35-45 feet of liner). A two way clean out was also installed going upstream and downstream. Job came with parts and labor and a 25 year warranty.

Sewer Line Replacement

Team Rooter technician was first called for main line back up. Technician did not locate clean out so had to remove toilet to run snake. Technician ran about 5 feet and was not passing that point. Then technician went underneath the house to inspect lines. Technician found that there was water leaking underneath. After inspecting line with camera technician found that pipe was severely corroded and infested with tree roots. Scope of work was for technician to replace approximately 20ft of broken mainline under home. Technician needed to excavate pipe out to replace with new ABS. Technician will also install a clean out, outside of the house to clear mainline.   

Technician also excavated about 40ft to the property line to replace all of the orange berg that is broken and infested with roots. Old corroded pipe was also replaced it with abs. All parts and labor were included.

In addition  clay pipe going towards the street was also replaced due heavy root intrusion. A liner was inserted to seal and eliminate all root intrusions. All parts and labor were included. All work came with 25yr warranty.

Technician needed to saw cut and jack hammer concrete to replace broken cast iron pipe. Technician also ran camera and found clay pipe in front of property to have root damage. Technician then needed to excavate and replace old clay pipe and replace with new ABS plastic. This job included replacement of all concrete parts, labor with 25 year warranty.

Team Rooter was called out to perform a camera inspection for liner. Job included saw cutting and jack hammering and excavated about 5 ft to perform a trench up the property line located toward the front of the home. Once trench was excavated technician exposed clay pipe that was severly root infested and replaced with new ABS piping. Technician also ran Hydro jetter through cast iron pipe upstream to be able to prep line to perform a liner. Liner was aproxímate 20ft or up to the first tie end. Technician also installed 40g water heater in the back house. Sewer line came with 20 year warranty. Water heater came with 10yr warranty. All parts and labor were included.

Team Rooter technician was recalled for a main line back up. After technician’s failed attempts to clear the stoppage in the main he than recommended to hydro-jet and a camera inspection to detect problem location. Once hydro jetter  was ran to city lateral. Technician then found that all pipes under the home were corroded cast iron.

Techncian job was to replace all of the cast iron pipe under the house and replace with all new ABS. Job included replacing two full restrooms and kitchen and laundry. All parts and labor were included with a 25 year warranty.

In addition Team Rooter technician also had  to excavate two pot holes one at the property line and one by the porch, that would allow technician to perform the pipe burst method to replace the cast iron in between. Work also came with installation of a new  two way clean out at the property line for future maintenance. All parts and labor are were also included along with a 25 year warranty.

After failed attempts to clear the line Team Rooter technician performed a Hydro Blast on the line to attempt to clear the root intrusion. Once line was unable to clear technician ran camera to inspect line, and found that the line was severely infested with roots due to break in line. Technician then had to excavate at property line approx. 6 ft deep to expose old broken clay/cast iron connection and replaced with new ABS plastic. Technician also installed a fiberglass liner to reinforce and seal pipe from property line to city connection. Work included all parts and labor with a 25 year warranty on job performed.

In addition technician also replaced the sewer main in parkway area, also due to root damage that could not be cleared with the hydrojetter. Work included excavation in parkway to remove damaged section of pipe and installed new ABS plastic. Work also included all parts and labor with 25 year warranty on work performed.
